DONATION PICK-UP SERVICES

We operate a truck and will pick up your larger donations for free within Putnam County! Click here to schedule your pickup or call 528-1709

Due to rising fuel and maintenance costs, we must limit our pickups to larger items such as furniture, appliances, doors, cabinets, and that type of donation.

Our staff and volunteers work hard to make your experience a positive one! You will want to call us first so we can review your donation, as we're not able to accept just any items. You will also want to give us a day or two notice as our schedule fills up quickly.

As of January 4, 2014, we are unable to install, sell or resell "pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fittings or fixtures" that are not "lead free" (see 42 U.S.C. 300g-6 as amended). The new definition of "lead free" requires products have less than 0.25% lead content based on a new, statutory formula that factors the total number of components and the wetted surface area of each component. Products subject to this law: pipes, fittings, and fixtures that may provide water for human consumption (drinking, teeth brushing, food preparation).

As a result of this new law, we are unable to sell or accept the following donations:
Kitchen Faucets
Bathroom Sink Faucets
Dishwashers
Water Heaters
Pipes and Pipe Fittings leading to these Faucets and/or Appliances
Plumbed-in Appliances (if tubing is not entirely vinyl, plastic, PVC)
